CSCI Resident Research Award

Resident Research Prize

The CSCI/CIHR Resident Research Award, jointly presented by the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation (CSCI) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), honors the most outstanding resident research project conducted during a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) training program at each Canadian medical school.

The award is based solely on the excellence of the submitted research, with evaluation criteria including overall merit, research design, ethical standards, originality, contribution to the field, relevance, and the quality of the final deliverable; whether it is a research paper, poster, presentation, or educational innovation.
